Do you remember the time that weren't there computers yet?

I was just a kind, I got my first commputer when I was 11 years old so the time of my life that I didn't have a computer was really little. However I still remember the first time that I could touch a computer and used it. I was so excited..it was my friend computer and I couldn't enjoy it how much I wanted. anyway from that day on..all what I thought was about computers..I started to read all the books I could get and soon I was expert in using my friends computer..hahaha
I can't imagine how the world would be now without computers..
when you saw and used a computer for the first time?

hi kwylima hope I do not lose this r esponse mylots swallowing my responses tonight. yes I remember and I was fifty when my son gave me my computer and I fell in love with it and wit h the internet too,. I never gave up after that and have become more aand more dependent on it as the years flew by. I am a real addict now and am happy being one
just as long as this response does not get ate up again. I really do
love my computer and the net too.

Laughing at...no, not at...WITH GardenGerty and stowyk, because yes, I remember those good ol' days, too!
And you know what, stowyk? Sometimes it is still more entertaining to go out and play!

I am a kind for computer generation person..but I can tell you that if I have a chance to go out with my friend..I leave my computer at home and go out to have fun..computers are great but sometimes you have to socialize with real people though

I am old enough that I remember when televisions were black and white. I remember when computers had green text on black screens, no graphics. DOS was the operating system. I do not remember when I first touched a computer, though. I bought my first new computer about fifteen years ago.

I can remember when we lived in a house without electricity. WE used an oil lamp or a candle when it was dark. My Mom always told me not to hold the candle over the laptop because the candle wax would stick up the keys. It was easier to "see the writing on the wall" so we never looked at the screen!

I stayed with my cousins in Florida and they had a computer. I must have been around ten years old. I remember getting home and that was ALL I wanted. I bugged my parents for months and they finally got me one. I remember how slow it was and how slow the internet was. I think we had dial-up and it went through the phone line. So if you tried to call, you would just get a busy signal. Oh, I remember those days!
