How does a social bookmarking site generate traffic? what's the best social bookmarking site? i only know stumbleupon

digg, reddit and many many more. They can generate you traffic but i don't know if they are that good for a site because people there are also looking for traffic.

Diggs good if you're able to create a network of friends on there who will view and digg your work in return for you doing the same to theirs. Reddit also generates a fair amount, though you have to post sparingly else it'll get annoyed and not allow you to post for a while! I've tried putting some through spinsnap also, though I haven't yet seen many returns from that one.
