I just noticed that we cannot re-add more tags to a current discussion?

Was it always this way or has that changed? I was replying to some comments in a discussion just a minute or two ago and wanted to add more tags, but I had no option to add any. This would be EXTREMELY HELPFUL in the event another user decided to add in bogus tags that had little to nothing to do with a discussion and you wanted their input to drop off. Just wondering if there is a way to do this.

I just added a couple of tags to this discussion and then the option was gone. My guess is that there is a limit to tags, they're not all seen at once, and rotate through each time you see the discussion. I guess they don't want a tag overload?

I think maybe there is a total amount allowed and once that amount is hit, NOBODY can add more? I took a hiatus so I wasn't around much for a couple months and wasn't sure if something had changed or if I had just never paid it any mind before.

It has always been this way. You only add tags to the very first reply after that there isn't an option to add any more.
