No, I don't enjoy thunderstorms, I hate them.

Ok, tell me something.
The sun is out right now, there are plenty of clouds in the sky, but the sun is still shining.
That's better than it has been lately since it's rained so much since last week.
Why, if the sun is out, would there be a severe thunderstorm warning icon from my local weather station lighting up on my desktop?
It's getting humid out there, I have to admit that. It's already 14C, and it's expected to reach about 18C, but I think it will get warmer than that.
Definitely thunderstorm weather. The fog has all burned off, at 7am, you could barely see anything the fog was so thick.
If a thunderstorm does strike, that means getting offline, not a problem as I should be doing other things. But it means again, I can't work.
Why is it, when the weather man is usually wrong, has he been right all this month? Did he make a deal with mother nature?
We have a river that snakes around our place, and if it floods, the area will not do well. Our house though, it's up on somewhat of a hill, but it's not at the top, and our backyard tends to flood when it rains.
I'm not looking forward to this, I hope this time, that the weather man is wrong.

I don't mind thunderstoms. i don't particlarly care for the lightning strokes and the damage a storm can bring but they do hold a certain fascination. something about the unknown is just bewildering and aweisnpiting.@kris182_2000 (5475)

It can be, but this is not a good thing.
I just looked at the warning and they're calling for 3cm hail, damaging wind gusts and possible tornadoes.
My pets go crazy during storms too, so I'm glad I'm home today.

i love thunderstorms but they can be rather annoying sometimes when they decide to pop up right when i am trying to get something accomplished outside i usually wait until it starts to cool off in the afternoon to go out and work my horse and that is about the time a thunderstorm decides to come around and i cant work my horse in a storm for it is too dangerous it is amazing how it can go from being bright and sunny one minute and dark and stormy the next

I dont mind thunderstorms but when they are severe with hail and high winds I get nervous and when the fire whistle goes off durring a storm because of trees and wires down and fires caused by lightning I have to take anti anxiety meds because I get really freaked out. my animals also get freaked out by the storms.

I actually really enjoy thunderstorms. Maybe I'm crazy but I feel like it's so peaceful. So peaceful for me in fact it helps me sleep like a baby. =)
I wouldn't want to be outside with the lightning but inside I do love it.

I don't like them either. They are getting so violent. I hope your area did pretty well. So many did not.

It is spring, thunderstorm season, so that improves his odds of being right about the weather. Ours is wrong, it was to be a little warmer and no wind. I keep thinking that it is going to rain, we will see. I need to be able to get outside in some dry weather and work in the yard, just for my own well being. It is not happening.

I quite like thunderstorms, though I'm lucky to be uphill from a river. The pounding of the rain (as long as you're inside!) and the flashes of lightning are lovely i think.
