My friend made me listen to a mix by DjRavine on Youtube, it was a mix of electro, hardstyle, dubstep, and hardcore and it sounded phenomenal. This was what I've been looking for in music but it's hard to find. I like electro and dubstep, but they're both missing something when you listen to the genre alone. What are your favorite mixes or DJs?

Genre is essentially meaningless. What I mean is, that just because a music is thrown into some category doesn't determine if it's good or not. Some of my favorite dub is Heyoka and Bar 9. My favorite psytrance is Infected Mushroom. I also love Shpongle, The Spaceape, Prodigy, Combichrist, Dark Oscillators, Goa Gill, and many more. Mike E Clark is the producer for Insane Clown Posse's record label and he has done some pretty good mixes of various artist's songs. I also really love it when people do remixes of old video games. I love the whole nostalgic feeling.

I don't judge music by genre, but when I am looking for new artists to listen to, that's the easiest way for me to find something.
