A helpful friend search tab

I am trying to locate a friend here in myLot because I haven't seen any posts from him for a while now.
I search for friends by typing their name on the search tab. the result will show a discussion they have either started or place a comment on, then I have to click on his name to be able to see his profile.
it's not that hard but I wish mylot can create a separate friends tab like the one facebook has.

I am with you on this wishful feature. It would be so helpful, especially for members like me with so many listed friends. It is like a nightmare to find one because unless we know the exact user Id name there is just no way to find them.
With some members adding numbers to their user name and the similar user id names it is virtually impossible.
I have tried so many different methods to find one member that at times I have had to give up.
So that feature you mentioned would be a definite improvement.

MyLot's list management is appalling. It always has been - just look at "Interests" and try to find something you want to add... hundreds of pages of nonsense, duplicates, unchecked spelling and so on.
Making it like Facebook would be a bad idea, in my opinion - we'd just have piles more functionality based on the same bad setup. They'd be better off figuring out how to streamline what's already here before adding more.
(Not a complaint - I enjoy MyLot. I just get annoyed at the lists.)

Yes, I have asked for this before. We definitely need to find our friends by name and not all lumped together under the friends started tag. It is difficult to find individual members even if they are not among your friends. Sometimes you do need to look up their previous posts.
