Last April 29 it is a great day for people of London to witness the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Indeed we have seen on television that there were thousands or even million that are cooperating outside even the tourists and people from another country have seen the Royal Wedding by involving themselves into the crowd. Some of them have stayed 2 and 1 day before the big event just to see them personally. It is really a great pride for British people to become part of the history by witnessing the special event of the Royal family. You can also see that there were street parties in London and the different types of attire especially the hats that created in different ways. If I am on this place I don't know if how much I would involved myself in the crowd. Maybe if I am also British then most likely I would do the same thing when I want to witness the important event. But if I am just a tourist then most likely I will stay in a place wherein there is a television to witness the important event.
Last May 1 it was the Beatification of Blessed John Paul II that you can also see many people attending the mass no matter how sunny day it was. It was an important event to involve themselves in beatification of the former Pope.
Then May 1 midnight in USA or earlier than that, people are gathering outside the White House when it was announced that Osama Bin Laden is dead. Even in ground zero people are also gathering because they felt like the justice was been serve after 10 years.
I was overwhelm as well that I feel like I should also join the crowd.
When Pope John Paul II was here during the World Youth Day I approached my parents if we can go in Quirino Grandstand hoping that I could see the pope. But when we have seen the crowd on TV my father decided not to go anymore because there were millions of people gathering the crowd. So much more we can't be able to see anything anymore and of course for sure we can't see the Pope. But at least the night before he left Manila we decided to stay at Pedro Gil Station where he stayed. At least we were able to see the Pope even that is just seconds or minutes while he was on the way in Pedro Gil approaching the place where he is staying. I am happy about it that at least once I have seen some person which is significant to the whole world.
What about you? How much do you involve yourself in such public important or special events? Of course aside from the concert. It could be a fans club as well or anything? Something without money involved here like without buying tickets?

To be honest, it's not for me. Not because I don't want to watch, but because I don't want to spend hours travelling and waiting and then getting home again. I simply don't have the free time to justify spending an entire day, possibly multiple days, on watching an event which itself only lasts for an hour or two.
I watched the Royal Wedding on the TV. No regrets, and I wish the couple every happiness.
