How mylotters ranking made or consider?

I have noticed that near my user name rmnrmn there is like
" rmnrmn (169) ranked 7,702 out of 25262 in make extra money"
What does " ranked 7,702 out of 25262 " mean? How its measure and for what?
I do not know why this rank is done or how it does. Please share your views here.

Well, though this is personal, but my view - I think I enjoy mylot more without bothering about these rankings or ratings. Personally I do not appreciate these as these systems are mostly misued these days... So to enjoy the stay here, do what you enjoy - participate and have fun the right way...
PS. It is just my personal view of course. No other intentions
