I really can't watch The Passion of the Christ again. It made me feel queasy and guilty and just plain depressed for days. The things Jesus Christ had to undergo really made me feel sick to my stomach. I hope they don't make another movie that can evoke such visceral reactions from the moviegoers. Someone in the audience actually walked out during the premiere night in my city!
How about you? What movie can't you watch for a second time?

Any movie with too much emphasis on blood and gore is a movie that I cannot stand. I accidentally watched The Hills Have Eyes 2 and swore that I will not see that movie or any of this genre long as I live. Some scenes really made sick to the stomach and I was surprised that I didn't have nightmares that night. It just didn't sit well with me. I'm better off with romantic movies and historicals.

The vast majority of movies that I've seen I could easily go back and watch a second time. However, a few months ago my friend suggested that we watch Blue Valentine. We were watching it at her house and I disliked it and was so confused about it that I actually asked her to turn it off at one point in time. I ended up suffering through all of that movie, but since then I will not let her suggest movies for us to watch together.

I think The Girl Next Door is probably the one I have seen that bothers me and that I wouldn't care to see again. It is about the unspeakable torture and abuses committed on a teenage girl in the care of her aunt...and the boys who witness and fail to report the crime. It is so sad and so typical as far as the way the kids in it acted. Your heart just goes out to the girls and you are rooting for this one boy to actually tell authorities. Infact kids do tell and no one believes it and when the cops do finally come it is too late.
