..but I bawled my eyes out! Especially that Own Goal! Oh, no!!
As soon as Michael Owen came on for Man Utd I knew 'Pool were doomed! And, true to form, he scored making me cry my eyes out into a tea-towel John brought me from the kitchen.
I sooo wanted Wigan to go down (how I hate that team, only 1,000 went to their last away game, they're a RUGBY TOWN, NOT A FOOTY TOWN)! So for them to stay up and have another season in the Premier League upsets me greatly.
At least Blackpool have won a few more fans along the way for the swashbuckling manner they play their football.
Long may it continue..even though it will be in the Championship next season.
I am so proud to come from there.
How did your team do?

I've been to Bloomfield Road once (Blackpool's ground) and Brunton Park (Carlisle's ground) loads of times as we used to be season ticket holders. Not anymore though..it's too expensive.
We have been to a few away games too and I've been lucky enough to visit both the Millennium Stadium AND the new Wembley.
Abroad I've been to Real Madrid's ground but would dearly love to visit the Nou Camp in Barcelona and combine it with a holiday. We did this in Madrid but the people there don't like English people. I actually got tomatoes thrown at me as I made the mistake of wearing an England top there. It was an isolated incident but I was shocked as I've never experienced that kind of treatment in England.
Needless to say, I don't wear sports gear anymore!

Of the three relegated teams, Blackpool is the one the I do not wish to see get relegated. Together with WBA, they had been a breath of fresh air. But it goes to show that it is pointless to be playing attractive football but the team keeps leaking goals. Hopefully, they will be back soon to the Premier League.

Well, I'm hoping Blackpool can turn on the style in the Championship. I like Middlesbrough too so I'm looking forward to that game.
It's a tough league to get out of, therefore I won't be upset if Blackpool don't get promoted after next season. I just want them to play the same entertaining football they've been delighting audiences with in the Premier League.

You are fascinated with soccer(I don't know what ball you said ,whether soccer or football.) game, above all,Blackpool team took part in,because Blackpool is your native place. It is unfortunate that in a large country like ours, with a population of 1.3 billion, the football stinks.I think the crux of matter is that we have not popularized it like the ping-pong ball.We must learn from you.

Me and my brother used to have a table-tennis set and played it in the house on our dining-table! No wonder we never put any weight on. It's a great game and something the Chinese are particularly good at. The Brits are hopeless.
Football on the other hand..

i so wanted Blackpool to stay up along with wolves. both teams have entertained with attacking football which has been a breathe of fresh air. an even bigger loss is Ian Holloway with his charismatic approach to the game and entertaining interviews, a sad loss indeed!
My team is Glasgow Rangers who had a nail biting final 6 games!

Oh I do like Rangers too my friend...and you're right, it was nailbiting for your team wasn't it?
I'm actually glad Wolves stayed up because I've grown to like Mick McCarthy and his team. I've seen them a few times on telly and have sat there wondering why they haven't won! And they beat Man U at Molyneux as well which is more than Blackpool managed!
As for Blackpool, I don't know what the future holds for Ollie. He looked crestfallen after the game so who knows if he will stay? He's a free spirit and no-one would blame him to try pastures new although he has bought a house in the North West of England and has been there for some time. If he wasn't serious about his team I don't think he would've up sticks like that.
We shall see. Hopefully, he'll get a tidy sum for Charlie Adam as he won't want to stay at Blackpool now. I couldn't believe that free-kick of his today. I screamed so loudly the neighbours probably wondered what was up lol.
