Communication inside family

Hi ravisivan, Though this post of yours contains more of humors and sarcasm, this is a reality in most middle class family. There is communication gap between father and son/daughter, husband and wife etc. They come and go without talking to each other. And usually the mother plays the role of a bridge. Why the growing son dislikes or is afraid of talking to talk to is father? There is surely a solid back ground. The fault is of the father. In my view members in a family should live just like friends without hesitation and inhabitation.

Hello ravisivan, It is a very good child's remark. He made you guilty and you thought about it... I live alone actually and I can choose to spend my time like I want, and there are days where I spend a lot of time on myLot too.

How cute of him to respond that way, means he is very observant. It is only my boyfriend and I and he is an Actor and Director so I spend a great deal of time home alone so you and many others I speak to often. lol. I do multi-task between other sites but have my days that I can spend a lot of time here too.

Actually not really like that because what is the point on that - why doing such thing which you can talk personally.. May be doing like that if something gap between you and your wife... for me my friend it not practical is look like making playing only... sorry.. see you around

People who are internet users often end up with an online community that takes a lot of their time. Part of it is the connection across national boundaries, part is the connection across cultures. It can become very absorbing. In my household my time online, mylot and other forums offer us a source for conversation. We find we have more topics to discuss as a family than if we were merely to talk of day to day events at home. Sometimes there are amusing items to share other times there are topics of interest, in nearly every field. This has lead to my grandchildren who live with me to exhibit a stronger interest in the world around them. There are pros and cons to every activity, learning to balance them is a task that is enormous.

My husband always is coming down to my office from time to time to ask me a question etc. when we are both home together, and a lot of times if I am just sitting in Facebook playing Zuma Blitz or something he will be like why are you not posting in myLot? I guess when it becomes a regular routine, and somewhere we can make a little bit of extra $$ from, when they are asking something like this, I guess we should not complain.

My husband's not on mylot...so I can't 'chat' with here. But yes, my son (older one) has jokingly mentioned that if anyone needs to catch amma early morning between 5-6 am, Facebook is the best place :-P He does know about mylot too and asked me about it...and earlier when I was here often, he would mention that I am on mylot almost all the time.

That is so funny. But I can understand because my sons are probably thinking the same things about me since I am always on here alot too. Whenever they come with a question if it isnt important i answer them but i dont look at them when i do. They are probably in the room saying dang mama just put us in the room to watch tv while on the computer. Kids are too smart these days.

How cute is that! It's amazing what the little one will say sometimes. I don't have children but I think my 4 legged family member would like to have a similar conversation with me. They miss their lap time. Best Wishes!
