I have always drank water from the faucet not knowing it's dangers but lately I was able to save enough money to buy a decent water purifier and what a blast!
I’ve had the best tasting water I have ever had that did not come from the tap water directly.
And another benefit is that me and my family will now be able to avoid waterborne diseases that might be caused by drinking straight from the faucet and one more benefit, it really taste's different.
What about you guys? Do you use a water purifier that can be put directly on the faucet or the ones with a cold and hot attachment?

In singapore, we don't need to have a water purifier fitted to the faucet because our water is being processed, filtered before reaching our home. It's safe to drink from the tap even in public areas unless stated otherwise. I'm lucky to be in singapore where hygience is strictly monitored. If i'm in your shoes, i won't get a purifier. I will boil water instead, for boiling kills all bacterias.

We buy purified water by the gallon in a nearby reputable water station. I once bought a water purifier that is being attached to the faucet but when the time comes that I have replace the water filter, I can no longer find the distributor, so now we only buy by the gallons.

We were just talking about this yesterday, but we always get all this stony buildup in the kettle and my mum was saying that she knew that a lot of our friends had water purifiers. Probably would be best for health reasons, but is it does come at economical cost.

well a water purifier is must and the need gets more important if the supply of water in your locality is not potable. there are a number of water borne diseases and a water purifier is a great step to avoid those diseases.
boiling the water before drinking is very much appreciated.

At home, our water comes from a deep well, run by an electric pump.
So, we put a water purifier into our faucet so as to filter our water. It's always that way and i know without it, the water must have not tasted that good. Though, it doesn't have a hot or cold setting, simply filtering the water.

Hi freymind..
I think its been a while since I last saw a discussion from you.. or it is just me that didn't notice it!
Its good that you have finally get a water purifier. And yes, its unsafe to drink water directly from the faucet, it has a lot of germs or bacteria..
Me and my family don't have a water purifier.. but we buy purified drinking water/ mineral water..
