I live in Pennsylvania (USA). Sometimes we see snow as early as October and as late as December. I don't mind snow, I do NOT like however, icey roads. I always worry about accidents and such. I like to watch it fall and land on the window and the sidewalk.

I too live in Central PA, so we are neighbors! I am like you, I don't mind the snow, but hate the icey roads and the accidents it causes. I have only been here for a little over a year, last year the snowfall was pretty mild. Do think we will get hit more this year????

what kind of weather do you get in pakistan? Does it rain..I guess it would have to for anyone to populate around there. I think you must have a lot of sand storms there? is that why everyone wears the head covering and long gown?//+

Yes it's hardly surprising to anyone that it snows where I live, in Reykjavik, Iceland. We have quite a lot of snow now that has been on the ground for a few days and I even managed to get my car stuck in the snow for a minute earlier today (I love driving in the snow when I know there's no danger of hitting anything or anyone). Some years we don't have much snow here, it usually snows a lot more in other parts of the country. It's not unusual that the first snow doesn't come until around Christmas time or even as late as January. My favourite is when the first snow comes in the late afternoon on Chrismas Eve, those thick heavy snow flakes. I love the snow but I wouldn't mind if it stayed off the roads and my front steps.

Is Iceland a cold country.. With a name like "iceland" you would think that it is always cold and full of snow. It is surprising that it doesnt always snow. What countries does Iceland border+

I live in the Southern US. If we get snow at all, it's most likely in January, occasionally in late December. We have had it as early as November and as late as April but that is really, really, really rare!

We had a small sprinkle of snow this year in the 3rd week of October. Since then, I haven't seen any stray snowflakes falling around;)+

Snow Blizzard - We usually see snow here in Ontario by November.
Here in Ontario Canada we typically see our first snowfall in November. We have seen traces of snow here, but it hasn't stuck around very long. I'm in no hurry to see snow around here, it can wait till Christmas for all I care:)-

Well, I now live in the Seattle area, and have lived here now for about 11 yrs. We do not really get Snow here though except maybe one day a yr. most of the time. This yr. looks like it could be an exception. We will have to wait and see though. Snow is pretty. I just do not like the Cold that comes a long with it.

It doesn't snow where I live. But I've always wanted to go to a place where it snows. It looks so nice when I watch it on television and read about it in books. But from what I've heard from friends...it can get pretty bad when you can't go out and have to shovel the driveway everyday. But I'd still like to experience snow atleast once.

I just moved to Northern Idaho about 2 months ago. It has snowed THREE times since we got here. Nothing on the ground now, but it may snow again this weekend. The ski season opened up last weekend, the earliest in a very long time.
