Which year was this corolla made again?

I dunno. Every time I see this particular generation of corolla, I would always shake my head.
Toyota has always came up with very nice designs for their Corolla series.
But this! This particular corolla, IMO is the UGLIEST of the series!
Any idea who is the designer behind this series of the Corolla?
To me, it is especially ugly when people spray it with a purple-pink mixture.
How bout you? Do you think this Corolla is ugly?

Are you sure that's a Corolla? 
I don't know what year that was made. I've never seen one like that before!
My husband thinks it's early 80's, maybe '83. If I had to guess I'd say late 70's.

It is definitely a Corolla.
Definitely in the 80s.
Late 80s if I remember correct.
There are still a few on the road. Not very popular though.
My guess, cos of the design!
