Best Graphics Card at the moment

I need to upgrade my graphics card to play some recent games. Can anybody suggest me a good graphics card which is compatible with all the recent high graphics game. I want a good graphics card with a reasonable price. But I also don't want my new graphics card to become backdated a few months later. Please help me. I am facing a dilemma.

Graphics card is the piece of hardware with the highest prices, if you choose to go for the most modern one. There is no such thing as best graphics card - you can get a great one by investing around $500, that's however money that would buy a whole new modern laptop.
My suggestions is, without naming a specific product, to choose a Nvidia graphics card with more or equal to 1GB RAM, and prices higher than $180. That would last for a few years and would play the games well, without you paying extraordinary amounts of money.

There are numerous graphic cards on the planet. But I think Nvidia Geforce is the best of all.
It is compatible with every game- with the strongest video details and highest resolution.
And there are many of Nvidia Geforce graphic cards with a wide price range.
As you know it depends on how much memory you need.
But seriously speaking 512 mb of Nvidia Geforce card has enough power to handle any game made on this planet.
