My autopsy turned out good

Yeah, you read that right. That's what my preacher said this morning. He meant to say biopsy and he said autopsy. I about fell out of my seat when I heard this! It is so funny when you hear certain things that absolutely make no sense, because you can't have something like an autopsy and tell about it... he kept right on talking too.. he didn't even catch it.. and wondered why people were laughing and grinning.. trying to hold it in. Finally the associate pastor told him what he said and he laughed too.
Can you think of any time when someone said something that was so totally off the wall that it made you take a double take? Please tell me your story.

haha that's pretty funny!
My great grandfather did something similar a few years ago. He got something on his foot biopsied and he told my grandpa "I got my foot autopsied today". My grandpa sat there for a second confused. He's always saying things backwards like that and sometimes they're really funny.

Yeah it was funny. Your grandpa did that too. You just gotta love it when our loved ones do that.

This would be interesting, and for him not to catch it right away. I would think somehow it would dawn on him, and then make him feel a little nervous and have to apologize. Hopefully most everyone knew what he really meant and was Glad everything turned out OK, but that must have confused some for sure.
Not sure I have ever been somewhere where someone has said something and goofed like this, or even I have done it but I am sure I would remember if anyone ever does.
