free hosting site with smtp service

Any one know a free hosting that have smtp service ? I recently use byethost for this and it started to change their service. They closed the smtp service and i have to pay for using this service. I would like to try first so i am not wasting my money with paid hosting.I hope i can find free hosting php,mysql, perl and other computing language ability. Please inform me if you know something about this

Because i make a dynamic site not static one. Then i should need smtp to response my member to register. That is why i need smtp server byethost used to be free with smtp but is is not free anymore. Any information about this ?

Actually not, never hear about byethost and I think you will not find a free smtp server with all this international fight against spam and spamers.
Have you tried to check the php native mail() function?
Have you tried to contact them and explain the situation and ask for a solution?
Have you considered as option a cheap paid hosting?
Also, if you ca handle basic web programming, you can try to use a free autoresponder program intad a smtp server ... such as http://freeautoresponce.com/ or many others are outthere ..

I don't know much about SMTP service, is that something about email service, that you would provide to other people free too? I am not expert on this, but I am willing to learn too. I am learning php NOW, and not other language yet. I hope that I can catch up.

Yes it a service that make us able to replay email automatic when someone register. Better use CMS like joomla, drupal, etc much easier to do. I want to learn php too but i have no time. It must be difficult and i should guide by tutor.
