A friend of mine send a MMS thru my phone last night. I am using Globe and he is Smart. I received the MMS he sent to me unfortunately no photo only text. When I try to open the object on says " lcmg_extended_fee " and the content of the object was ONLY TEXT. I was really disappoint.
According to my friend the size he was sending to me was 700KB.
I checked my settings before hand. Multimedia Message my Image Size was Large, Maximum Validity is Maximum Time.
Is there any Standard Size when sending an MMS.
This discussion is applicable to Globe Subscriber and Smart Subscriber.

I think, and well you own a thing and yet you do not know its capacity? Or are just looking for a topic for discussion. Because it will not generate any constructive discussion, I advise you to check your your operational manual of the product you have or check the internet.

@jak: MMS isn't so popular here. That's why nobody knows. And I don't think anybody here checks that feature when they buy a new cellphone. I'm curious as well how it works, and the charges. But I can live without it, if proven difficult or expensive.
Anyway, do you frequently use MMS?

Depending on the type of its mobile phones, but its general setting as follows:In the settings menu select messages -Multimedia messages
Well there may select the image size: Normal - large - small

Well, if he was able to send it, then I guess it is within the limit, right?
I haven't sent any MMS ever, so I don't know what I'm talking about. I did try but I was afraid the fees will be too high for me, so I opted against it. I did receive some MMS, though because my new phone doesn't have any settings (Globe doesn't have them for my unit) I only retrieve my messages online.
