Rated as one of the worst referee blunder, the referee failed to give the clearest penalty of all time.
The Guinea player uses both hands to catch the ball after it bounce off the post. She held onto to it for a couple of seconds before throwing it back to the goalkeeper to continue with the game. Despite the Australian protests about the incident which was seen but all the stadium including the Guinea's bench, the referee just let it go.
While referee is human, it is time not to let such blunders tarnish the game. FIFA should introduce technology lest the game become a joke due to the the incompetency of the referee

Women football is at its beginning and the women refereeing is at its beginning as well. I have seen this scene and I laughed a lot, although the referee was Hungarian as I am. But with all this mistakes, I don't want video referee, it takes a huge amount of humanity from the game. I just repeat myself time and time again: football is played by humans, for humans, let it be judged by humans. If you want perfection, you will get a boring game. Players make mistakes, referees make mistakes, so let football be beautiful, with all the human mistakes which it has.
