Pest control service or termite inspection service?

A friend of mine sign up this service from a local company, and he keep saying that he have a pest control service. They set up a couple of stations around his house, and the initial charge for the first year is $300, and every quarter he has to pay $60. But from customer service rep I talk with last few weeks ago, he explain that pest service will be about prevent the invasion of cockroach, spiders, and mice etc...... The termite control service will be totally different. I just told my opinion to my friend, he simply said that pest control service is pretty much the same with termite control service. Is that a truth? Is the pest control service also include the termite elimination service? What is your opinion if you had an experience with it?

Recently, one of my aunt had took this kind of pest control service. According to her, there are many kind of packages in the pest service. If your friend interested to get termite control, then he should sign-up for the termite control service. If he wants both pest control and termite control services then he will need to sign for 2 different packages. Each package have their own price and term and condition as well. Hope your friend will solve his problem soon.
