Hello fellow mylotters. I am thinking about switching over to T-Mobile prepaid. Currently I am with Metro PCS, and the 4G phone they have is not the best option because it will always be searching for a signal. It doesn't settle on 3G either, but goes to the 2G network that I already have and am not crazy about. In fact, for the web is the reason I want to switch phones or carriers.
My question is: if you have TMobile prepaid and the 3G or 4G internet, are you happy with it? How is the service overall in the US? Particularly in Michigan area?
I am thinking about going to the $30.00 plan, and if I need to upgrade then I will go to the $50.00. I will probably be on Mylot on my phone and will use up the 30mb pretty fast. lol.

In my personal opinion, if you're looking for T-mobile web, then I would go with a T-mobile post-paid plan. They offer unlimited no-contract plans which offer unlimited talk, text, and web as low as 50 or 60/month for a single line. and 80 for two lines. As for your coverage and 3 to four g coverage, simply log onto T-mobile's website (best done from a computer) and type in your address (city and zip's fine) and get coverage information for your area and it'll let you know what to expect.
Pre-paid web from T-mobile isn't all that great. If you're a heavey user (browsing the web on mylot and sites like it) then the above options I've suggested will help you out greatly. I can't tell you what coverage you'll have, best to look it up. Where I am in Florida, I get decent coverage with it switching from edge to 3g (I don't have a fourg phone).

thank you for your advice about TMobile. I have metro pcs right now, and I really want a phone I can use on the web. A contract plan is not an option for me, because they just charge too much money, then the taxes and fees on top of that. I like knowing what my bill is going to be every month, instead of the surprises that come with plans. $50.00 is $50.00, taxes and fees included with prepaid.
