I am a member of both sites and I used to promote all the posts I wrote for my blog. To be honest I don’t know whether I had great results from either site although it was fun being on Stumbleupon and checking out other people’s stuff. I prefer Ezine Articles to promote my work and my website.

I've used Ezine by writing articles and adding a link to my blog at the bottom. It isn't a miracle fix but it used to occasionally bring in some visitors and when you are trying to promote a new website it all helps! Good luck with yours!

Hi,
I have been sharing all my blog posts in this network site. I am very much happy with stumble upon, approximately 90% of my pageviews came from stumble upon. There was a day that I've got 1000 pageviews just from stumble upon alone!
I never find any obstacles in linking all my post in this social sites. Infact, this sites helped incrseas traffic in my blog.

I've used both with mixed results. I think the key to Stumbleupon is to have a lot of... followers, friends, whatever they call them. Otherwise your link is only "stumbled" upon randomly. I'm not sure about Digg as I never had any luck there. It seems as if the things I write don't fit into their categories or style.

I always hear the two promoting sites in promoting articles.
However, i have not tried it yet.
If I write I just post it and let the search engine do its work.
I heard some writers really use it and earn decent income.
But not really sure of how successful it is.
