Everytime I roam around I see to it that I always look on the posted notice in every wall of the street. I always see new things to be read on the street. Most of the notice are more on condo's and houses. I am planning to buy a condo but the problem is that how much will I down. I saw 3,500.00 as monthly payment. I am looking for much lower than 3,500. Do you know any post notice for this types of condo or rent to own houses.

I guess it's not practical to buy or own a condo right now. Just look for rent to own houses which is more convenient. When you are in a condo, you still have to pay for so many things monthly like the security and so on and so forth.

I would rather own a house than a condo. It may cost me a lot of money compared to a condo, but in the long run it will be more practical. Think of several years after, when you are already married and with kids of your own. Condo living, in my opinion, is not for families. Children do not have enough space for playing due to limited space. Also there are so many restrictions with condo living like you cannot just cook and do the laundry the ways you know how because smoke is prohibited and hanging clothes for drying is not allowed. You resort to laundry shops for your dirty clothes and restaurants for your meals. Though not condos have strict rules, but there are still rules to be followed. In other words, years after you have purchased your condo, you still might want to own a house. So, why not just save up for it now rather than choose a condo.

The property market doesn't look impressive now as it is not on the buyers advantage. The condos in my country are very expensive and only the rich can afford to own one. But there are average apartments and flats but not as luxurious as condos. I would prefer to buy landed properties as condos or apartments have high maintenance fees and even after paying off the mortgage one still continue paying for the monthly maintenance. It is a lifetime commitment. In the long run it is more expensive to buy condos.

I agree with you. It's just now worth paying such a high maintenance fees. After all, not everyone get to use or will use the facilities provided.

Oh my, the price has definitely increased these days. The lowest I know of is 7k/month, and it's in the Rizal area already. Maybe you can look for some in Laguna or Cavite? I think there are houses there that are very affordable.

haha, condo is considered private property and thus it's always more expensive. IF u want something cheaper, opt for those not in the prime district area. It's gonna be very much cheaper but also very inconvenient to get around.. lol =D The other way is to get a lower bank loan at a longer period of time, so that u need only have to pay less than 3500, but u have to pay alot more at the end of the 25-30 years later.. haha

I also wanted to rent my own place but I cannot afford it. I wish that I had someone to share the place with so that I can afford to rent. but I am not good at looking at place to rent. specially here in the city , the prices of the rooms and condo or house for rent are very much expensive . If you wanted affordable place to rent expect that it won't be desirable or something that is acceptable to most people . Either the place is just too small even for one or two person . Or the location isn't that good at all

I don't think you'll be able to find a condo with your budget. I looked around and I think the cheapest condos that are for sale right now are ranging from 8K and up (this is just within makati) and that's just for the smallest space available. However there are a lot of low cost housing that fits your budget those are located in the middle of nowhere. It somewhere that if you don't own a car then you'll spend most of your earnings on your daily commute. The best thing for you to do is to approach real state agents you will be given the right advise and find you a unit that fits your budget.

In my opinion owning a house is more appropriate than owning a condo. If you are a bachelor that will be okay but once you decided to have a family of your own, I guess condo space is too limited for a family to live in it. Additional cost are the bills (water and electricity)and the security condo owners provides aside from the monthly installment if you didn't pay in cash. My advice is to choose installment houses that will later be your own. Thanks for sharing my friend.

Have you tried searching online for a house/condo or whatever it is you would like? There are some places that only post online. Then again, there are others who only post in the paper. You can check your local paper online as well for real estate. Perhaps you will find something suitable to your tastes and wallet. Good luck!

you should be wary of condo contracts too. a friend told me that after a number of years the land owner can take back your condo property.

I do hope you'll find the type of house you're looking for. Sometimes you have to wait for the 'dreamhouse' to show up on the market. Perhaps when you find a house of your desire you can negotiate the price or monthly pay with the house owner. Are you the person the owner are looking for you have a opportunity to have a rewarding negotiation. You cen what you want and the owner get a trustworthy responsible person for his/her house.
