I have one which I cant get over with. When I was in Grade 3, I joined the schools beauty pageant and everyone's eye is on me because that was the first time the school is having an event and I was known to be a class topper. Theres a question and answer portion and I know everyone will be waiting for my answer.
The question was if I saw my neighbor's house being robbed whatI will do. I gave a short answer, I will tell the police.
Then the host followed up... then what if the police says, "So what? What can a little girl like you do?"
Then I got mental blocked and wasnt able to open my mouth again for an answer...
Up to this time, I am still telling myself, I shouldn't gave that as an answer, I couldve told him I will go to my mom or an elder and tell what happened and then together we will go to the police and also let our neighbors know.
It wasnt easy gaining back my confidence then whenever people tease me how can a top student get mental blocked..
How about you ? is there anything you got embarassed with an cant get over? and still wish you should've done something else.

LOL! There's this one time where I was FORCED to join my school's singing contest. I think I was in Grade 5/6 at that time. Since I really don't sing, my teacher kept me for practice everyday. Thing is, since I was a kid, I didn't know drinking cold water after practice would affect my voice. When the contest date arrived, I lost my voice and was very hoarse but still my teacher pushed me out on stage and there I was, singing this Chinese song in a very hoarse voice. My classmates were laughing and teasing me for a long time after that :P

Personally there have been many things in life that have been this way for me, and it can be embarasing to say the least. Mine always is my Temper especially due to being Diabetic and having other issues stemming with that. I am known to sometimes get mad at the smallest things, and say things I often regret saying later. In time it has broken up good friendships and other relationships and I am always kicking myself for it. But in reality once done, there is nothing you can do but move on and hope for a better day tomorrow.

I still can't get over the fact that these three certain people ganged up on me on at one of the Uzzap chatrooms. This one girl threw a lot of accusations at me like she knew me so well, which obviously she doesn't, and went on to say so many things that made her look like she's so full of herself. What's really pissing me off is that those three finally admitted that they didn't care about the wrong doing they did to me. I sold my mobile phone and went to get a dvd player instead. It'll be a long time before I can finally get over what happened. It saddened me that the ones whom I considered friends, who acted out as the audience while I was being verbally abused, did nothing on my defense.

I think even the most intelligent of people can get mentally blocked. Even those who teased you can get mentally blocked and they know that. And being on that stage wasn't easy. I have joined beauty pageants too when I was young. I may have answered the questions well but there are a lot of times that a lot of things are distracting you and you cannot give the best answer.
