Why lesbians are actually more accepted than gays?

Lesbians are gay so I am guessing that you are talking about male gay people as opposed to female? Men get off on watching two women together whereas most women don't get turned on watching two men together. I really don't know beyond that. I tend to see that the people that are against gays, think that way mainly due to religious views and the others just don't care much either way.
