I like a combination of Picasa and Gimp. Picasa is great for initial major but general edits, while Gimp is the software to use for refinements. I wouldn't call myself a Gimp master, as there still is a lot for me to learn. I am quite able to find my way around though.
Gimp is great for a hobbyist since it is free. It has most of the features of Photoshop, even though Photoshop does come with more options. For now, Gimp is fine :)

I don't usually do much photo editing, I use these editors only if I need to complete a certain task, I mean I don't play with those programs just for fun. I used to have a legal Adobe Photoshop, but now I have a new computer and I've been using GIMP for all my photo editing needs. I think it's among the best free of charge photo editing programs.

I think Photoshop is also a good photo editor because it used by many professional. And I also used this software for editing photos. If you searched on internet then you find much graphic editor software. And I am a web developer and I used Dreamweaver for designing. So this is a very good designing tools for web development.

I use Photoshop a long time ago and it has resulted well. Is the first time I heard about Gimp. I can not establish the difference and know which could be better. Actually a program to master, requires that you learn the manual, that commonly is very large, and you need a lot of time and practice as well.

Well, I use Gimp and Photoshop, they are very good and all that I need, on my laptop I use Ubuntu, so I use Gimp on it, and on my desktop I use Photoshop, but I think that for more specific jobs Photoshop still better, until now, But I think that in the future it will change.
thank you and see you soon.

For photo editing i use photoshop or i use gimp if i have to do something small i use gimp but i want to make a picture where i must edit allot i will take photoshop. Gimp is an very good program that is free and i works fine, the most buttons are easier to find then on photoshop. photoshop i use because it is just the best program to edit photo's i think.
I almost never use paint because you almost can't do anything there but only for saving pictures it is fine.
