Bollywood goes to Tollywood

Hi. In recent time we had seen that the Bollywood movies are remaking the south indian movies. I think this trend started from Sathiya and then moves to Wanted, Chup Chup ke, Singham and now the new film Bodyguard. The list is however long. So do u think that the Bollywood director doesn't have any fresh idea to make flim. Cheers.

Very interesting to read your posting and responses of fellow-myLotters. I am not really familiar with companies of India. I have heard of Bollywood, though I have not seen any movies. Any way, India is a country very rich in culture, arts, and entertainment.

the hollywood audience like to see dance of the indian movies. yes india is rich in culture and indian film industry produces some good movies.

Bollywood seldom has fresh ideas. Earlier they used to remake from Hollywood and now they are remaking films even from Tollywood.

yes, also the bollywood singer stole the music of hollywood movies. really needs fresh ideas to make a movie. cheers.

I must admit that I've never watched a Bollywood movie. However, I have seen many GREAT remakes of mediocre movies!!! I have seen many movies made from old ideas that have been made fresh by the way they were redone!!!
