beware of counterfeit money
The police told us, as I read in the detik.com, that during the fasting month, be careful with the circulation of counterfeit money.
Police so far have not found a printing factory counterfeit money. However, perpetrators of counterfeit money spreaders are usually targeting crowded places like markets.
"Modus usually by spending money in the markets,"said one officer of indonesian police (quoted from detik.com)
To that end, the police appealed to the businessmen to give special attention to the money received from the buyer. Communities are encouraged to check the money first before accepting.

It is so difficult to separate the real and counterfeit money, they look alike in many ways. Counterfeit syndicate is getting smarter and technologically advance nowadays in priniting counterfeit money all around the world, not just in Indonesia. Many time you have no way to know the difference by looking at it unless you have very advance testing device showing the microscopic details of the currency like those use by bank to be able to tell that it is a counterfeit money.
