Recently I got a chance to attend a seminar on health awareness which included stress management, naturotherapy and health awareness conducted by an NGO at office. Out of the many simple exercises for curing spondylities, diabetes, migraine, headache etc. discussions on proper sitting posture, head & neck exercise were also explained. Out of the whole I liked the Om Therapy. This is reciting OM with closed ears and eyes sitting in a quiet place to relieve your stress. OM symbolizes goodness, power, meditation or respect. The note i got is by chanting OM or AUM, we get a relaxed body, a balanced hormonal system, a youthful look, helps increase concentration among children. A regular practice help you to control your nerves, migraine and headache too. Dear My lot friends, please share how many of you have followed this form of yoga and benefited. Thanks.

I always wanted to take classes for yoga but I never found the time and especially the money. I do my own form of meditation and other yoga like things for my body and soul. I find listening to music or gregorian chants to be very relaxing. It seems to bring me back to reality a reality that is more calm and focused instead of me wanting to pull my hair out.

That is a nice form of relaxing. May be you could watch and learn from the CD/ DVD available for 'art of living' or yoga. Ultimately it is all about what we do to keep us healthy, calm and relaxed. Thanks for sharing your experience.
