I was amazed on the method of teaching which my daughters' school used to relay information to their students. The students were asked to make a Powerpoint Presentation of their topics in different subject and they were to discussed it in the class. In one of her subjects, they was also asked to prepare an Ice Breaker in between of the discussion as an energizer. They were training them like a professional presentor and were allowed to explore their imaginations in the presentation by using the latest MS Powerpoint software. In her geometry class, they were asked to prepare a few step in dancing which would physically demonstrate the topics that they are discussing. This dance step are filmed and watched in their class. There are lots of changes in the education though a lot of critics are telling of the poor standards of education in the Philippines. I remember myself using a brown paper and a pen to discuss my report during my younger years while the new generations are using their laptops, overhead projectors and a software which could easily capture the attention of the listeners. I know it is effective because the reporters gives an examination immediately after the report and my daughter could get a perfect or with a few mistake scores. What do you think about it?
