Next Generation Computer Graphics in Games Using Atoms instead of Polygons

This is new technology developed by Euclideon, that is gonna replace polygons in computer games. They have found a way to give computer graphics unlimited power. They make every object out of tiny little atoms instead of flat atoms. Check out this video and let me know what you think.

Crysis and Far Cry 2 jungle are far ahead. So,imho,this is old technology sold as new technology. With DX11,3DC and Tessellation we can really have more than this.
These demos looks like a 3DFX Voodoo2 graphics demos (low framerate, poor colours, lack of polygons). And all objects are still, not moved by wind/shoots etc.
I'm just curious,how can you do water effetcs with this technology?
