When we truly care

Absolutely right. On the othe side, when we truly care, we let the people we care about know their "faults" as well. We do not mean to hurt them when we tell them the truth. But since we care for them, we also need to tell them things that may help them grow maturely.

I can do that but not forever because I'm not a pushover. There's a limit to how much excuses I can take. If that person continues to do wrong after so many talk-overs and he continues to make excuses then it's clear that he's doing it on purpose. Would you really be that of a pushover to just ignore that person's wrong doings just because you care? Can you really do that in real life? There's a word we call for people like that, it's 'martyr', and being one is not always good.

Yeah, maybe we at times covered up those mistakes and pretend that they never exists. But for us to learn also we should never hide them if he is wrong then we should not tolerate his/her so that they can start on their own way to change.
