S.C/S.T Reservation...Really needed ?

In a 3rd world county like India,there is a need of reservation among certain group of people.The reservation in education & jobs is certainly required to bring the back-lagged poor people into the main stream of our society. But there are some serious problems in this reservation system in India. This system is backing some people of some certain cast groups like Scheduled Casts and Scheduled Tribes instead poor people who really need reservation.Some people get this facility of being SC/ST/OBC, generations after generations and some dont although they really need such resrvations,but their crime is that they aren't in some certain cast groups. I think this system should be thoroughly changed b4 it is too late.If this process continues,one day will come when our society will be driven by some ineffitient fellas.When this reservation policy created, it was certainly fruitful in that social scenerio.But now the time has been changed.Reservation is still needed, but not for some rich sc/st but for some poor people.So, the reservation should be on income basis, not on cast basis. This is my opinion on this reservation controversy. Plz, share ur visions with me.
