Would you agree that when men meet to have happy times, would always end up drinking? Women, does so also, but they only drink socially. But men, would drink as much as they want and some of them would get really drunk. This happens to my husband every time they would have a meeting. After the meeting, all the male employees would ask one another to have a shot or two , which would end up into a drinking spree. My husband cannot resist, but he said he only drinks a shot or two, but would join the sharing of stories.

Hi! You see if in a gathering everyone enjoys drinking then it is possible that they will end up drinking or it may also happen that like minded people gather because they want to have some company for drinking. If any of the group member does not drink, he would not join them.

Well, my husband isn't much of a drinker. But being the team leader, he deemed it necessary that he have to listen in the stories being told after the meeting. That way, he gets the idea or suggestions of others who are too shy to give theirs when they are not intoxicated. In the process, he gets to drink two or more shots.

I got your point.. Your husband is smarter because he knows that when his collleagues are under the influence of drinks, they may reveal some additional information, which otherwise they might not share.

I agree with you. And I do not understand why they like to do that... My husband will sometimes tell me, I will be home late because Marc invited me for a drink. We will discuss about our plans on investing in Michael's fish cage. I thought to myself, can't they just talk it over dinner? why do they need to drink? i already got used to it though. but until now, i still don't get it why...

True. Men end up getting drunk when they get an opportunity to get themselves united. It is the feeling of gregariousness which prompt them to such deeds.

No dear, i don't agree to you fully, i attend so many meetings, seminars, workshops, there is provision in some for tea, coffee, soft drinks and harddrinks, i see very few going for the hard drinks.. Women here usually don't drink in public, might be doing it with friends only.. Well about your hubby, in office, he does it for company sake, not bad dear.. Thanks for sharing Have a nice day ahead. Professor ‘@Bhuwan@’. .

Personally my hubby doesn't drink, he can't even stand the smell of it. I also don't drink either, is not that I don't like it, is just my husband can't stand it, so in order to avoid any confrontations I just stay away from it completely. I personally don't find it to be bad, to have social drinks, once in a while we do need it, in order to just escape and have fun. It's kind of difficult to resist, when others around you are doing it.

My hubby actually avoids drinking because of his hyper acidity and a bit of hypertension. But i would tell him to once in a while have some shot of brandy, because according to health report it is good for blood circulation. But now that he is almost weekly, joining those drinking sprees (although moderate drinking only), i am a bit worried that it might aggravate his two ailments.

I cannot help but say, men are made for it! *Wink. But, it will be our responsibility to carry ourselves and set our own limits - as it's always about control. There is nothing wrong with drinking as long as you or a man is able to get himself together after drinking.

That's very correct! Drinking is good, it can relax you, as long as you know your limit.
