Platonic love as most of you have heard is a kind of realtionship which involves a passionate relationship devoid of any physical involvement .The term meant originally as love as a means of ascent for the contemplation of the divine as explained in Plato's Symposium . But the modern definition pertains to an affectionate reltionship devoid of physical involvement where it is usually expected. Do you think such a relationship is possible to succeed in the present times ?

Just by seeing her, touching her, talking to her,or just by hearing her laughter are enough. Love is not measured on any other means other than the feeling of happiness deep in your heart when you're with that person. Sometimes "expressions of love" are just bonus.

Thanks jonahh08 . What you said goes in conformity with the ideas of platonic love . But the modern world fails to understand it . They are more eager for outward manifestation of love than its existential manifestation .
