I was enjoying some cheese and chive dip earlier with some breadsticks but usually I have houmous. I thought I would have the cheese and chive for a change and I am partial to an onion and garlic dip now and again too. I have never tried guacamole as I am not a huge fan of advocados and thought that I probably wouldn't like it. I also very much like salsa dips too with corn chips, mmmmmm
What is your favourite dip and what do you like to dip in it? Do you even like dips?

I am a dipper! lol I like to dip into anything that contains melted cheese and jalapeno peppers. I like like to add to chips pretty much all kinds of dips. Makes for more flavor and fun this way.

hi Humbug:)
just reading your post makes me hungry...I like dips too, but my favorite is cheese and salsa dips for nachos and potato chips, it adds those delicious taste to simple chips. and also its good to cut veggies, you must try that sometimes too.

Hi there p1kef1sh
Oh no you can't be throwing it away!! I used to make my own but found it was actually cheaper to buy it! They do some lovely varied ones in Tesco now with peppers, red onions and such like. I think I might have to give guacamole a go sometime though haha
Cheers p1key
PS I miss your discussions!!

Probably my favorite dip is French Onion dip. I like to dip potato chips in there. But I also like a good dill dip to dip vegetables in. Spinach dip is also really good with lots of different things dipped in to it. But it tastes really good inside a round loaf of sweet Hawian Bread. I love dipping the bread in that. It can be also really good to season some olive and dip Italian or French bread in to it.

Chives are a great addition to almost anything. When I want a lighter dip, I use yogourt and chives instead of other types of cheese. Philadelphia cheese (the light one) can be mixed with a lot of things too. I was taught a now favorite of mine that takes no time at all to make. Philadelphia crees, soy sauce and a good covering of sesame seeds. I like mine toasted, but they can be made with the natural ones.
