Here in my country India, the gemstones are worn for bringing good luck,
but only properly energized Gemstone or enhances or harmonizes the performance of the planet for which one wears it. 
Gems give effect in two ways. One is by anchoring the chart at a particular point. Whatever result one planet gives during its Sub, those types of effects are accentuated by the Gemstone. Second is the refractive index, which shifts the location of a planet by about one degree.
Many people are suffering by wearing the wrong Gemstones. When one asks them, what are the effects they have seen after wearing a Gemstone, many persons say, ‘no effects’. When one starts telling the negative effects of Gemstones, they would have experienced, they immediately agree.
I am wearing a Yellow Sapphire and one Red Coral for past 50 years, I believe they work.
Do you wear gemstones and do you feel their effect, just share.

hi professor,
i dont know anything at all about gemstones but i admire seeing them in someone's fingers. they all look very beautiful.
i am wearing two at the moment. one he calls cat's eye because it is shaped like a cat's eye in the dark, i guess, and another is a diamond cut green emerald (?). i recently have received this red coral which is really big. 
but this i have to match with the clothes that i wear because the color is really intimidating. like if i mismatch it with other colors, it stands out anywhere.
some angel sent it to me. 
i can say gemstones boosts my confidence.

Yes, as in everything it is a good idea to do your research. Many gemstones are not good in combination. I have used rose quartz to releive stress headaches. Really works. Cleansing them for several days in sea salt helps to properly energize them and cleanse them of other people's auras.

I used to wear a turquoise that was set in silver ring for clarification in thought when I speak. I was having issues with just blurting things out even though I knew it would make me look like a crazy person to the people around me. Even if I was speaking the truth. I was having such a hard time just keeping my mouth closed when around them that I bought the ring. It was too small for any finger but my pinky and it was too big for that finger, but I couldn't afford to re-size it. My sister has bigger fingers than I and it fit her pinky perfect even though I really needed it. She stole it from me and I'm very angry that she did that, I'm pretty sure that if you steal a gemstone it does not give you the same effects as if you bought it or had it given to you.

Yes a stolen gem stone may not work!!
Some gemstones are to be worn life long, some for a particular period only depending upon your chart..

I´m glad you are feeling up to posting here. I received your new address. I´ll answer by mail as soon as possible as today I am not feeling too well.
I have heard of gemstones but never gave them much thought as my knowledge has come from light women´s magazines. I have heard say that for my sign, Gemini (I was born the 8th of June), the gemstone should be an aquamarine. I don´t know. I once had one, but it was stolen.
I´d love to know more about this and wuld welcome your help.

Hi Bhuwan,
I never answered that post because my mother did not remember at what time I was born and there is no paper that says so. I know the day, the year and the place (Santiago, where I live). I have had little energy and many things to do for my health. I don´t know what will be the outcome of this and I can only do my best. I had the results of a very important exam (a PET CT), but as I have an appointment with the doctor on Tuesday I decided not to get it until next week as I´m afraid of what it could say. I´ll tell you the outcome of all this on Wednesday.

we can only say that they are 50:50. as sometimes it really works. my lucky stone is sappire stone. sometimes i do get luck, but sometimes i don't..

During my teenage years, I was told that jade stone has healing effects in our body, especially to our immune system. They say this detoxifies our body from bad toxins we take everyday during the course of work, travel, especially of course, eating habit (wrong lifestyle?) these days. I was able to procure one ring with jade stone in the center of it but since I was a teenager then, I didn't feel anything good in me wearing this stone. Can you tell me, Professor, what are the health benefits that we can get from this kind of stone, please.

I do not wear gemstones. I do not believe they help people in anyway. I think it is just in a person's mind that they work. I never have believed in stuff like gemstones and never will.

Dear Professor Sir:
Gem stones do have effect on a person. it is because he is wearing it with full confidence in that. As you rightly say one must wear the stone that is suited for his stars. In my case I do not like wearing anything -- I was given a diamond ring at the time of marriage -- even that I never wore.
I have belief that diamonds will bring fortune when it is bought at the right time.

Hi dada,how are you ?I also wear( pukhraj)in my finger.my astrologer suggest me to wear that stone,and I feel it works to boost our confidence level.I think if we wear it in proper way ,means with Astrologers suggestion it effect.have a nice day.....
