Would you prefer U.S. brand than other countries made?

Lately, I heard some of the patriotic co - workers mention about prefer U.S. made brand products, rather than others like China, Mexico, Brazil made products. Probably one reason of it will be U.S. products still have the reputation of reliability; and with recent economic turmoil, many people would prefer home made products to support local economy, and in hope to help it out a little. What do you think?

Well I like to buy US made whenever possible to support the economy, and also I don't like the way China has practically taken over our economy. Sadly, most things made in the US, while made with quality are somewhat over priced.

I rarely choose a product because he was made on my country, except some special cases. But, I think in this actual world is pretty difficult to choose those products, because it seems that almost all the products are made in China!

I'm not really sure anymore. I just want to make sure that I get what I pay for. Nothing is made well anymore.

I would like to find anything american made, but the reality is that nothing is made here anymore. Most of all the products that claim to be american are actually made in places like china, mexico or taiwan. So, do not be so patriotic.

I would prefer products of good quality and are comfortable to use. I don' mind the brand and where it is produced as long as they meet the criteria I set for the products I use. But I can truly say that most o the US made are good quality because manufacturers are very conscientious of the products they sell to the consumers. YOu are right in saying that these products are 'reliable' . Indeed they are because they are concerned of end-users satisfaction.
