RVP as new captain Arsenal

Robin van Persie was appointed as the new captain following the departure of Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas. In the same occasion, Thomas Vermaelen was appointed vice-captain. Arsenal captain's position was vacant after Fabregas leave the Emirates Stadium. Spanish players returned to his old club, Barcelona. As expected, the vacant position was eventually filled by Van Persie. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, judge Van Persie had the necessary leadership in the field.
