hi everyone,
boss was asking for a green tea. i said ok, in a minute. i didnt have green tea in the office cupboard but i knew i had one sachet in my bag. i took it out and then showed it to him. asked him if he would like macormick brand. then to my surprise, he said not that. "i mean C-2 brand, and has to be cold." i said yes sir. and went out.
i was laughing at myself, and blushing too for not understanding it at once. he meant a bottled juice ordinarily found in convenience stores.
have you been in any situations where you get the impression of understanding it and then you realize that you made a mistake in analizing it hence you find it funny and hilarious?

No when I was younger I took it as a sign that I could do nothing right and it took about 2 days to recover. Now, I just say I am a ditz and correct myself. with my boss it was my time sheet. the first week in august I worked a new schedule and I confused my boss by signing in on a day I wasn't in. After a few emails and me coming in we Finally figured it out I went to her and said it was my bad. she thanked me and that was that. i didn't kick myself for the mistake and I was over it in a fw minutes Not days!

Hello aunt-tiger, maybe some people have different message to convey and you thought the one that you specifically have is the one he generally wanted but he wasn't speficic but it's a good thing that you asked. i guess we have to be careful with interepreting some one elses saying or we might misinterpret it. have anice day

hi LK,
that is very true. just like in our vernacular "marami ang namatay at nabuntis at napahiya sa maling akala"
it is really good, if you doubt, the right thing to do is ask.
have a nice day.

Oh, this is the kind of thing that we see all the time in our family. The main reason for this is because of the fact that I have a sister-in-law that is pretty ditzy. In fact, she has been having a lot of breakthrough breathing after getting a depo shot. Well, my mother and sister told her that all bleeding eventually stops and she completely didn't get it. It took my mother and my sister completely spelling it out to her before she understood it.

hi dora,
i guess she really wasnt concentrating on what your mom was telling her. maybe she was so concerned about what is happening to her hence the misunderstanding at first. but all is well now that she has.
have a nice day.
