HP dv2000 problem, help please

Hello my friends!
I have one problem with my laptop HP pavilion dv2000. When i plug in charger, my laptop turns on automatically, but in the screen nothing happens, he sty black. And I can`t to shut down it until I remove charger from it... Maybe someone had the seime problem with your laptop? What could it be, and how to repair it? Thanks a lot who will help with my problem.

Try turning ON using your battery. If it is still the same problem, then you don't have any problems with your charger. If its not, then maybe, there is some problems with your charger, maybe some short-circuits or something like that. If you have someone who has an HP laptop, try borrowing their chargers and see if it works. Most HP laptops today would be using the same chargers.
