The Diff. between sending private messages and posting

Hello Lotters,
Sorry 
I know it's not rocket science though but let say this at least once. When ever we sent a post, which is either a discussion, response or comment we have the right to skip the tag or close the TAB with out choosing the putting tags or skip them because the post had already been submitted, I do the closing tab most of the time
(and you can earn)
Not with messages though, you can't earn sending PM's but one thing i learned though, you can't close the tab when you submitted a message to some one because it won't send. compulsary either you put a tag or skip it. I was having a talk with the admin and shocked when he told me i need to either "click" skip or put a tag. . well, just though i like to share something.

I always tag posts and PMs so I never thought they could be different in any way. I do know though that you have to double check PMs to see if they are submited. As for earning, I have more fun posting, but I earn more trading sites in PMs

I tag my PMs with the name f the friend that wrote me. That way, with the search tool, I can retrieve the messages we have been sending each other.

Hello marguicha, Well i guess you get to have some sort of a exchange referral or having conversations with different people who also shares with some information to you about online earning sites. there are times that i put tags in my private messages, but honestly, that is something rare. have a nice day.

Yes, I have noticed this myself. It would be nice if you did not have to choose between these with messages that you send to people. Who tags their messages they send anyways? If you are searching for discussions Tags are important but I would not want my personal message to come up just because someone puts in the word "Health" and such. These should be left to be able to keep private.

Hello Krause, I don't know as to why tags are added to. in my case i only use it when ever there is an important messages that i need to send into asking about queries. have a nice day

Yep. I have noticed this also. I thought my messages had sent but they didn't unless I tagged them or pressed the skip button.

oh thats right I found out that too and had not been aware but was not getting it sent until I chose omit or tag. some others here might not know that so this is a good discussion to let them know they must choose one or the other.So you were most helpful here

Yes, I know about our ability to skip tags when responding in a discussion. I usually do that whenever I have my internet slow. Once the tagging page is already loaded, the response or comment is already within the discussion. But I never knew that you cannot skip the tagging page in private messages. Well, I seldom use it but still I didn't happen to observe that. But I always do tagging or let the tagging page load along and just press the skip button. Thanks for sharing that. This will surely prevent me from having some problems in sending messages in the future.

Hello Agent, same here. when I reduced my subscription speed to the lowest of 384 kb, that's the time that i have been skipping tags on every single post except when i make a discussion because internet connection at that time was terrible and Bad enough to make me less motivating to mylot. glad i could help. have a nice day.

It is good that you have started this discussion. Hope it will helps others to get to know this function when they want to send private message. I am having a hard time learning about it when i wants to send my first private message to one of Mylot members. Through trial and errors and finally learned to use it. I am happy now that i don't have problem sending PM, i just need to skip or tag it, before sending it...
