how do you like your sheets?

Okay I am wondering this as I am getting ready to turn in for the night. I wonder if I am the only one or maybe one of just a few that are incredibly picky when it comes to their bed. I have to have a completely clean bed not a single crumb or anything in my bed. My sheet must be pulled tightly and pillows a certain way. My cover must be smooth like a sheet. The best are the down filled white comforters or I will not get comfortable and will end up making my bed like this just to sleep. Okay how about you, does your bed have to meet a criteria before you can lay comfortable?

I don't care so much about my bed looking. Sometimes I don't bother to make it. When I do make it, I just through the covers and kind of make the sides even. Meh. I am just going to get into bed that vary night and mess up the all the sheets so what's the point over getting picky about aesthetic arrangements? However I do have one standard. Cleanliness. I can't have crumbs on my - bed. Nor can I have black dots or any other debris. If there is a giant wrinkle I will examine it to see if it is clear or if it is hiding something. I have a rabid fear of insects and I know carelessness with food and dirt will invites them like nothing else! My bed better be more clean than fresh snow or I will refuse it. If I find a beetle or any other small insect it it (during the summer), I can not go to sleep until I have examined under the mattress and changed ever last sheet!

I am like that about the crumbs and bugs. I luckily have not found a bug in my bed except once under my pillow was a spider!! That Freaked me out! But about the crumbs I can not handle that, I love to feel the crisp clean sheets and if there are crumbs or whatever else that doesnt belong there I take all the covers off and replace them once I have given my sheets a good shake.

I know how irritating it is to be all comfortable only to run over a crispy crumb bump! I can understand not letting that go! :)

I like my sheets soft and tight around the corners. I cannot stand when slip off the corners and I get tangled in them. I also like when I bring them in drying on the clothes line outside and feeling the warmth of sun on them. Thanks Unique16

Yes sheets coming off the edges is the worst! I get very annoyed with that. Although my husband doesn't seem to mind as his often come off on the top. I also love my sheets and blankets being dried outside. That just makes them appear so much fresher! I don't get the warmth off them tho. But I actually prefer them to be cool when I get into bed for the night.

As long as my sheets are comfortable, than that is a really good enough for me. There are a lot of times where I head off to bed and if the sheets are rather comfortable, then I just head off to bed. Of course, my interpretation of comfort can wildly vary from day to day for sure. However the thing is that it varies and it is not one standard criteria. As long as the sheets are firmly on my bed, the pillows are cool and propped up, most of the time, that's more than good enough. Other times, something has to be at the certain angle. I have to have a certain number of blankets right there. There are just many things about sleeping, that truthfully depend on my mood, along with my mind. It truthfully can vary each and every night.

This sounds quite a bit like me, I need my sheets to be comfortable. There is basically only one set of sheets that I like since it is crisp and fits tight on my mattress. There is also a specific blanket or quilt, depending on the temperature that I must have. And there a two pillows, one body pillow and one that I just like how it feels against my face. And it has to be on top of another pillow or its to flat.

I ALWAYS have my pillows in order. Each 3 of them goes to a specific place. And I don't like sleeping in a 'rough' bedsheet. So thread counts counts when buying a bedsheet.

I agree with you here! Mine have to be completely smooth as well. It is a must and my pillows are stacked neatly the same way every time. And I have to have one to prop my leg on or I wont get comfortable at all. Blankets must be the same way every time.

I like my sheets well ironed and clean. Our room is black and white designed and I love my sheet's color standing out. SOmetimes I have light blue, pink, I like my sheets with less prints. I also have satin bedsheets. Like you I always make sure that my bed is well covered.

Wow! I would probably love your bed!! Its sounds so nice. I like the idea of the color scheme you have selected. I am planning to repaint our room soon. Not sure what colors we will use yet. But I do like a nice cozy color on my bed and bright coloring. I really like white as my bed covers. I have my eye out for a nice quilt. I am using this little one that I had bought for my daughter and she doesnt like it!! I bed ironed sheets feel good, but I have never ironed them before.

I like it exactly the same as you've described. I also like my sheets to be cotton, and I hate fitted ones as they never seem to fit! I have a standard double bed and always use king-size sheets as I then find there's plenty of tuck-in for the bottom sheet, so it can easily be pulled tight and is less likely to creep out of the edges from under the mattress. I like two soft pillows and they must be punched into perfect shape. If my bed isn't right, then I can't get to sleep.

I'm not so picky either about my sheets. But I'm weird, even in the summer, I HAVE to be able to snuggle with a comforter! Even if it's a gazillion degrees out! Ha ha! I once had these satin-cotton blend sheets, though, that were SUPER comfty! I should figure out what I did with those.. lol
