Have you ever been so bored that you will go out in weather that could be dangerous just because you needed something to do. That's what I just did. I've been sitting around waiting for hurricane Irene to show up and it never did. So, today it was either leave the house and go do something constructive or become one of those women who loses it and is reported days later in her local newspaper having been admitted to the insane asylum. Has this ever happened to you?

Yup, yup, I get like this sometimes, especially when I have several days off in a row from work - I just get bored out of my mind and I HAVE to get out of the house otherwise I just feel lazy and stir-crazy. I don't know if I've ever gone out into dangerous circumstances to get outside and go run around and do something, but I can see myself doing it

Yes, I know exactly how you feel! We have all survived the hurricane here with minimal damage but our roads are all flooded so we can't really go anywhere. We have been stuck here for two days, and will be stuck here again tomorrow. . .so, of course, instead of cleaning or doing something productive, I have just been lying around being bored. Finally, my husband and I took the kids out to some of the (safer) flooded areas and we all puddle stomped and rescued tadpoles and such. Not really constructive, but it did break up the boredom and monotony!
