My vlc player is giving me lower fps....

I recently formatted my pc and installed vlc player, But whenever i play a video on vlc i get lower fps , the video seems like 10 fps i think, before formatting vlc ran smoothly and i have all drivers installed including my graphic card.. help me!!!!!!

yeah i too had the same doubt so i installed k-lite mega codec pack but still no change, after somedays like if i install some softwares or other players i get it running smoothly....i think its an issue with the vlc update
