Will tablet PCs be a trend?
I read an article that the founder of Apple (unfortunately I forgot his name), says that tablet PCs will not last long and will only be a fad ..
Yes, he praised Apple has launched a Notebook and its peers, but he believes that it`s temporary...
But there is also another article that said that this year the demand of Netbook will drop because of the presence of PC tablet
So waiting for what would buy a tablet PC netbooks ..

There would not be any kind of tablets like the ones that are around today. If Apple did not create the iPad, there would not be any of these things around today. I would not buy anything but an Apple product anyway. So, if you want the best, the original, buy an iPad.

No one will argue that Apple products are more expensive, but they are worth every penny paid for them. And, here is another piece of information, the life span of an Apple is much longer then any PC product out there. Lots of people have a cheap laptop for instance, about 2 years into it, it starts getting slow and sluggish. And updates are too much for them to handle. Now Apple on the other hand will not show signs of slowing down for at least 5 or more years. And even then, they are awesome. But any computer, no matter what it is will not last forever. With new programs coming out and updates to old programs, they are larger in size then the others. Thus, needing more memory and hard drive space. So, Keep that in mind. I use an iMac and I will never use any other computer. I would say to save up for an Apple product, it is well worth the wait. I am glad I did. I have ben using Apple for many years now and I am a happy and satisfied customer.

I am not an Apple guru and I don't know of what he was speaking about : ipad or new tablet PC announced with Windows 8 ? If Apple continues to not support flash for the ipad, I believe that people will prefer Windows system. Now, what about a tablet PC or a netbook ? They have not the same usage : I prefer to respond to myLot with a netbook and to read a book with a tablet. Both have their place.

YEs, tablet Pcs will only be a trend and it won't last. Just look at the Iphones now, it's so common that nobody even bother to look at it. With the increasing number of people using tablet PCs, it will fade away soon. Besides, a tablet pc is useless as it only allows one to look at documents, surf, but not able to do any work on it. It's good for presentation, but other than that, it's not practical like netbook.
