I usually have headaches when i don't get enough sleep, or at times, when I oversleep. And also if I use the laptop a lot, I get headaches, maybe because I am straining my eyes. And I also get headaches when I am in a dusty, smoky place.

hmmmm don't straine too much your eyes.. if you stayed long already.. just closed the eyes for 5 minutes so eyes can relax once in a while...

I've had a migraine all day today. Mine always have to do with severe changes in weather. Yesterday was hot, and today was cold and rainy = migraine. I always have them when the seasons change too, and in the spring when the leaves are just beginning to unfurl. I used to think it had something to do with the pollen on the leaves, then I made the correlation between the changes in temperatures. I spent almost the whole day lying down because that was the only thing that gave some relief. Needless to say, I didn't get a whole lot done! People who have never had a migraine don't understand how horrible they make you feel, and that if it goes on long enough, you get sick to your stomach too. Drastic temperature change is the only thing I get them from. Smoke, tiredness, and other things mentioned in other posts, do not seem to trigger them at all.

Fortunately, I have not had migraine attack so far. May be that's because I have been practising meditation regularly, every day. I have heard of cases where people got relieved of the migraine problem by practising meditation. You might want to try that too.

B4 2009, I hardly had headaches, no matter how stressed I might be, etc. But after I got a stroke in Feb 2009, I started having headaches quite often. And the headache would be at its worst during my periods. But ever since I received some kind of treatment (not 4 stroke or headache) from a Chinese physician a few mths ago, I am no longer having headache during my periods.
