My New Cyber Eon Debit Card Activiated (weei!)

For some of you who doesn't know, I have actually did my best to keep in contact with the customer service and with the branch. last week I've decided to update my debit card and have it replaced before the designated expiration date.
It worked as plan but took longer, I was told to wait for it for a week though. when it was my time to get it the teller didn't notify me to wait for 24 hr to activate the card and the one who was supposed to activate it didn't do it. not until i called them a few days later.
For the moment i couldn't believe the negligence coming from the teller but i was patient and wanted to avoid ranting. am just glad my UNION cyber card has finally been activated. have a great day.

good to hear it is already activated buddy.
yes, some people are too irresponsible with their jobs.
the one's in charge of the activation should be blamed for the delay.
but the teller did what he should do.
with their customer service, i say nothing, no comment.

Hello Neildc, I can expect this from that bank but am putting up with because i earn online. if BPI or any other local banks doesn't have this kind of ratings like that one then we wouldn't be having this kind of problem. as for th person in charge, i'd probably have to let go of it i don't want to make more things complicated.

Hi, I just would like to ask on how much will it cost for me to open an Eon Debit Card at Union Bank....my debit card has already expired...

Hello aabuda, Just prepare two valid ID's, and a 150 Pesos processing fee. it takes a week to do it. and once you have acquired it after a week get the card and remind the teller to activate the card immediately. unlike mine, the OIC forgot about it i had to remind him to do it. have a nice day

NAKS! Good for you! I've been planning on getting the same card. So far, it's the highly recommended debit card for paypal. I'm not even sure if other banks have an equivalent.
How hard is it to apply for the EON card? can in be linked to a savings account as well? Can you give us the perks of the cyber eon card, as well as how to apply for one?

Hello Knicnax, Because local banks requires you to pay fees when ever there is a transaction involving online. there's a lot of sites where you can search for banks connection or link process to your paypal. it's not really that hard, as long as you have your identification cards with you, both have same length with your signature. this is their site.

I am satisfied with the services of the Union Bank branch here in our place. I had my Eon card replaced too because I lost the piece of paper that had the PIN in it. I just thought that they will provide us with the PIN but the New Accounts Officer explained to me that they do not keep our PIN so I had my eon card replaced. Thanks for your discussion LetranKnight25, may I have this opportunity to ask you if we can use our eon card here in mylot. I just opened it 4 months ago.

Hello Pahak, Well, that depends on other things, it's not first class quality service but i am glad they are not doing something stupid or saying something rude to me. it was more on negligence on their part i guess. you can use mylot through paypal which will connect it with Union Cyber Eon
