Spiritual Possession

During the recent month-long Ramadhan, some Maranao students in our school have been possessed by spirits. These spirits would communicate to the living that they have been so disturbed of what our school had done to their place. It was found out that there was an acasia and fire trees before which were cut down because of the construction of the two story canteen. And all those who were possessed were mostly Maranao girls. They became very strong that for every possessed girl had to be pinned down by at least 4-5 men.One time, we went around with our Chaplin- a Spiritan priest who was blessing every office,classrooms and restrooms with a holy water. Before the activity ended, there were a number of girls, college and high school who were successively possessed and have claimed that they have to get even from what we have done to them. From that time, we have suspended all classes for a week while a "quack doctor" or "herbalist" have to be hired to negotiate with the spirits.At the same time, PRAYERS and MORE PRAYERS were made for the lost souls and spirits who need to be liberated from where they are placed now.It was really a test of faith for all of us who were direct witnesses of what had happened.Thankfully, our prayers have been heard by God and everything is now back to normal.
