It was a really funny goal. The goalkeeper had the ball in control, then he threw it straight onto the defender's back. Arshavin was quick to seize on this mishap and put the ball in the back of the net from an acute angle. Apart from this Arsenal had a couple of other good chances including one from Van Persie when he hit the outside of the post. But overall Arsenal would be disappointed that they could only score one goal against a promotion club like Swansea.
Cheers!

Arsenal did not perform as I expected, I thought it was gonna be a rush for goals and secure a good victory but I was wrong because they played as if they are so weak to hold Swansea. Anyway they won and backed in three lucky points, I still have a doubt if they can hold Swansea in return match. Lets hope Arsenal players will be fit and return our lost glory. Arsenal

And about time too. After the 8-2 mauling, this victory is definitely a relief. However, things is still not as rosy. As an Arsenal supporter, and having watched almost all their games since the 90s, I would say their display is one of a disjointed club. Even with the new signings, they still look a pale shadow of the former self. The only hope is that the players could gel quickly and return the club to its former glory.

I'm an Arsenal too and I really miss those days when we used to lead and stick to our game till the end of the season. Arsenal was so strong with so many quality players, what do you think went wrong for it to be like it is now? Still we have the same coach who used to secure victories in those days, Emirates stadium has not given Arsenal anything since it was built and I just wonder when Arsenal will be strong as it used to be. Lets support Arsenal and hope for someday

I haven't seen this game, but I believe that this was a sort of precaution game from Arsenal, in order to win the game. There are many new players there and Arsene Wenger tried to win the game, and sacrificed the spectacle for having a good result.

I guess the transfers Wenger has made will improve the team a lot and results like against United won't happen again.

Yes, arsenal is lucky to earn 3 points for the match against swansea. They are not playing as good as swansea, and luck is on arsenal's side to scrap through a win. Arsenal'snew signings has to gel quickly to get the momentum going before they start losing again, and by end of the season, arsenal will reach the end of their era should Robin van persie decides to leave as well. Buck up, arsenal.
